Welcome to Yellowknife Elks Lodge #314, a fraternal and charitable organization that promotes and supports community needs through volunteer efforts.

The Elks Lodge meets every 1st and 3rd Monday of the Month, except in July and August.  See the About page for more information .

The Chicks' Canteen is closed Friday Jan 18 while the Chicks are on vacation.


We are looking for a full-time bartender and part-time servers and bartenders. Qualified applicants may email resumes with cover letter to the attention of the Lodge Manager at, fax to 867.873.3551 or drop off at 4919 49th Street.

SERVERS & PART TIME BARTENDERS - Monday through Saturday afternoon/ evening shifts

  • Should have experience with using a point-of-sale system, accurate cash handling skills and excellent customer service skills.
  • At least 6 months experience in a restaurant / bar required and recent liquor server training is an asset.


Join us at the the Elks Lodge on Thursday Nights from 6-8PM for Steak & Burger Night, cooked by volunteers!. Members and guests can also enjoy the Club from 4pm on Monday to Thursday, from 3pm on Friday and from 2pm on Saturday.
